Ordering Process & Payment


Ordering Process and unavailable items

Once you have completed your order and made the appropriate payment, your order will be emailed to our customer services team. You can pay by the methods quoted below. Once payment has been received and cleared your items will be despatched. If an item is no longer available will be refunded to you.



We aim to despatch orders within 3-5 working days if you require it sooner, please advise us when ordering and we will do our best to get it to the post office the same day if ordered by 3pm or by 12noon the following day if not. Please allow longer at Christmas or National holidays.


Payment Methods

You will be able to pay by the following methods:

  • PayPal

  • Credit or Debit card (using the PayPal gateway - YOU DO NOT NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT FOR THIS METHOD)

  • Manual Credit or Debit Card Payment

    • Card details can be taken from you over the phone and transacted via our card reader. Please email me if you wish to use this option.

Alternatively you will also be able to pay to the following non PayPal methods:

  • Cheque (Sterling only)

  • Bank Transfer (please request payment details)

Lay Away Service

I offer the ability to pay for miniature items in instalments.

Items chosen by you can be taken offline and held for up to 3 months (unless agreed otherwise) while payments are made in stages. Once payment is received in full the miniatures will be posted out.    Please contact me directly to discuss your individual requirements.

Non Handmade Items

The New Website we are concentrating on selling just Handmade items and a few items from other Artisans


We do offer a range of non handmade items that we can source for you.  A Few of the items that we hold in stock may be listed on the website but if there is a specific item you need please contact us and we will do our best to source the item for you.  There is also a downloadable file on the Links page to the current Streets Ahead catalogue (once you locate the item you need please email us for prices)

We can supply items from Streets Ahead, Dolls House Emporium, Dolls House Work Shop, Carl Schmeider (Wonhams), McQueenies and

many more Miniatures are available, Just contact us with your requirements. 

Custom & Bespoke Items

If you like my hand dressed beds, however they are not quite the right style or colour for your theme, or you already have the bed, I will gladly make the right bedding for you. Just let me know what you require and I am sure we can make that LITTLE something special for you.

Curtains and other soft furnishings and other handmade items are also offered as a bespoke option (even decorating houses or complete rooms). We can also make in smaller or larger scales for your miniature projects

Summer Shop Closure

As we are a family run business we take the following break to spend with the family and also catch up on replenishing stock

As an advanced notification, from 15th July to 21st August, each year we will not be despatching orders. Customers may still place orders and make enquiries during these dates, (As you may want to secure a item as  some are OOAK)  but orders will be despatched after 21st August.  Thank You, LHATP Management x

Refund Policy

Refunds for Damaged Items

Items may be returned if faulty for an exchange or refund. Proof of damage will be required before any item is returned. In the event you no longer require a replacement item we will then provide a refund for the item cost only.

Any items must be returned within 14 days of initial despatch.

Goods returned should be well packed & must be sent by recorded delivery, as we cannot accept liability for any returned goods lost or damaged further in transit.

Returns Policy for Unwanted Items

Unwanted items may be returned for a refund, subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • Returns must be made within 14 days

  • Goods must be in their original packaging, undamaged and in an unused condition

  • Goods must be returned at customer's expense

  • Refunds do not include P&P

  • Refunds will be made within 5 days of receipt of the item by us

We reserve the right not to refund any items received back in a non-re saleable condition. Such items may be returned at the customer's expense if requested.

Returned items will be refunded, less a 10% handling charge (maximum £10).


Please contact us before returning any Item for a refund. Your statutory rights are not affected.
